Echo The Sun
Echo The Sun, de aankomende release van het Philippe Lemm Trio, is een suggestieve verkenning van licht, warmte en veerkracht. In navolging van de geest van zowel zonsopgang als zonsondergang.
Het trio nodigt luisteraars uit voor een reis die even levendig als introspectief is. Elk nummer speelt met het centrale thema van het album. En legt de dans vast tussen schaduw en licht, groei en reflectie. Het samenspel van het trio schittert met spontaniteit en emotionele diepgang en roept het zachte optimisme van een zonsopgang en de ondergaande gloed van de zon op.

Het Philippe Lemm Trio bewijst voortdurend een van de meest opwindende en opwindende jazztrio‘s van dit moment te zijn. Onder leiding van drummer Philippe Lemm ontmoette de groep elkaar in 2011 in New York. Na één sessie samen, realiseerde de groep zich dat hun onmiskenbare chemie er een was die moest worden meegenomen en gedeeld met de wereld. Bestaande uit drie muzikanten met een uitzonderlijke beheersing van hun instrumenten, put het repertoire van de groep sterk uit herinterpretaties van jazz standards. De groep gebruikt hun vertrouwen en begrip van elkaars muzikale neigingen om gepassioneerde muzikale soundscapes te creëren. Deze variëren van traditionele jazz tot door progressieve rock/klassiek beïnvloede muziek. Het horen van het trio is een bijzondere en onvergetelijke ervaring.

The Philippe Lemm Trio
Winner of the International B-Jazz Competition and Winner of Best Solist Prize. The Philippe Lemm Trio is continually proving to be one of the most exciting and electrifying jazz trio’s around today. Led at the helm by drummer Philippe Lemm, the group met in New York in 2011, and after one session together, realized that their undeniable chemistry was one that needed to be taken and shared with the world.
Comprised of three musicians with exceptional command of their instruments, the group’s repertoire draws heavily from re-imaginations of jazz standards.
The group uses their trust and understanding of one another’s musical tendencies to create passionate musical soundscapes, which range from traditional jazz to the progressive rock/classical-influenced music.
Hearing the trio is a special and unforgettable experience.
